Meet Gabby — Your Bilingual Wedding Officiant in Atlanta

I believe bringing two people together is one of the most beautiful things I get to do.

I’m Gabriela Arriaza — Gabby — a bilingual wedding officiant in Atlanta with a multicultural life that has taken me between Atlanta, Portland, the Dominican Republic and beyond.

I grew up understanding that love, family, language and tradition don’t always fit neatly into one box. And honestly? I wouldn’t want them to.

That perspective is a huge part of the way I approach weddings today.

Whether your ceremony is in English, Spanish, or beautifully woven between both, my goal is to make every person in the room feel connected to what is happening — especially when two families, cultures or languages are coming together.

LOVE SHOULD SOUND LIKE YOU.

I became a wedding officiant in 2020, but what drew me to this work was never simply the ceremony itself.

It was the people.

I love learning how two completely different human beings found each other in this enormous world. I want to hear how you met, what makes you laugh, what you admire about one another, the little things nobody else notices, and the moments that made you realize:

This is my person.

Those details are what allow me to create a ceremony that feels warm, personal and genuine — rather than something pulled from a generic wedding script.

Your guests should hear your story and immediately recognize you in it.

TWO LANGUAGES. TWO FAMILIES. ONE MOMENT.

Some of my favorite ceremonies are bilingual weddings.

There is something incredibly special about watching families who may speak different languages experience the same emotion at the same time.

A bilingual ceremony should never feel like someone said everything once and then simply repeated it in another language.

I weave English and Spanish naturally throughout the ceremony, allowing both sides of the family to feel included while keeping the moment flowing beautifully.

Because language should bring people closer — never make anyone feel like an observer at the wedding of someone they love.

YOUR WEDDING DOESN’T HAVE TO LOOK LIKE ANYONE ELSE’S

Traditional. Modern. Romantic. Funny. Spiritual. Non-religious. Intimate. Elaborate. Civil ceremony. Elopement. English. Spanish. Bilingual.

There is no single right way to get married.

My job is not to tell you what your ceremony should be.

My job is to listen carefully enough to help you create the ceremony you actually want.

And when we reach the moment when you’re standing across from the person you chose, I want everything else to disappear for a few minutes.

Because years from now, you probably won’t remember every word that was said.

But I hope you remember exactly how it felt.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I’m endlessly curious about people, cultures, stories and the different ways we experience life.

I believe our relationships with one another are one of the greatest classrooms we’ll ever have. Every person we meet teaches us something, every story gives us another perspective, and every love story reminds us that there are countless ways to build a beautiful life.

That curiosity is probably why officiating weddings feels so natural to me.

Every couple gives me the opportunity to learn another story — and, in return, I get the extraordinary honor of helping tell a tiny piece of it.

With every wedding I officiate, I like to think I’m planting one more little seed of happiness and light in the world.

Ready to Tell Me Your Story?

If you’re planning a wedding in Atlanta in English, Spanish, or both, I’d love to hear about the two of you.

Kind Words from Couples and Families

"I have known Gabby for years and when my son was going to get married, there was no one else we wanted to marry them. She is sunlight in human form."
